The first quarter was equal because CBA could not impose its high rhythm (18-17) and just in the beginning of the second quarter the Academy got the first important advantage to reach the halftime with a convincing 37-30.

Gran Canaria did not surrender and despite CBA White controlled the third period (49-38), the game could not be decided until the end (57-58, minute 34). Then a marvelous team defense and great crucial baskets from the perimeter and the high post gave the victory to CBA White who is still unbeaten after 9 games, whereas Gran Canaria accumulates 2 as CBA Black. On the 7th of March these last two teams are going to fight for the second place.
