Canarias Basketball Academy was visited this morning by an Engolan Basketball Federation representation, whose national team is the most honored in African basketball, and was headed by its President, Paulo Madeira, and Eurico Araújo (Vicepresident) and Nelson Ferreira (Manager in Europe).
The Director at CBA, Rob Orellana, showed them all the residence areas in which all the boarding students live and accompanied them to the weight room and court.
The president of ABF was amazed by the CBA project: “This Academy looks very interesting to me. This is a very valuable concept to train young players. Their attitude, hours of practice and combination of sport and education impressed us”.
“We are very interested in setting cooperation links, especially for the practices of our young players”, Madeira concluded.
