The president of the Canarias Basketball Academy, Rob Orellana, has recently signed a collaboration agreement with the University of La Coruña, whereby the students would develop their practices in this international high performance center.
In this matter, Eduardo Fernández, last year student of Science of Physical Activity and Sport of the Galician university, has arrived this week at the CBA residence to make his practices, due to his interest is deepen in basketball physical training. He has though that his project to finish his degree is going to be related to CBA project, because he wants to compare CBA work method with conventional basketball clubs method.
The interest of Fernandéz for the CBA was born when he watched the TV program that “Informe Robinson” dedicated to the Academy. Since that moment, he was interested in being in its last Summer Camp for ten days, a short period of time, but enough for knowing that he wanted to know the work that is developed in this Canary entity.
On the other hand, this agreement joins at the other that the CBA have since a few seasons with the ULPGC, with the Physiotherapy Faculty, whereby more than twenty students have benefited with this pre-professional experience.
