The Canarias Basketball Academy has closed down its traditional Christmas Camp this morning, which has been held from 23rd to 31st of December and the 4th and 5th of January at the University of Gran Canaria court.

The whole work of the camp has been divided into two areas: individual technics and the physical training. In the first case, they have insisted in the ball driving, the dribble and the shooting; at the physical job, they have worked specific coordination applied to basketball and continuous running.

On the other hand, the campers have recognized that this experience with the CBA has exceeded their expectations, although “everyone says that this is the best camp in technique”, has declared Carlos Correa, player at the Canterbury , at the time that he confessed: “What I liked more was that we have practiced the dribble, the change of pace dribble and we have made a lot of physical work, we have even run at the mountain”. For all these, Correa has assured that “I will recommend this campus because you really improve”.

At the time, his mate Emilio Castaño, Heidelberg’s player said: “I feel that I have improved my individual technique and they have corrected some aspect of my shooting”, while he stressed: “It has been my second time at the campus, because I like the CBA a lot, as for its work method like for the players”.
