Five games (two wins and three losses) for CBA Amsterdam in the prestigious U19 Cholet Mondial Basket that ran from the 3rd to the 6th of April in France. The Dutch group finished in the seventh place in the first experience of the affiliated CBA team in Amsterdam confirming that it is increasing its level little by little.
On Friday 3rd it lost to Cholet (57-51) and beat Instabul (49-54), but could not qualify for the semifinals on Saturday as it was defeated by Prague (87-64). Therefore, it had to play for the 5th place on Sunday though it could not reach that position as it was beaten by Nantes (86-47) and fought successfully for the 7th place on Monday vs Pau(65-61).
6’11 U18 CBA Black center Lucas Nguessan had a 18 point tournament high vs Pau in only 14 minutes. Furthermore, he added 9 and 2 points, respectively the first day; 7 on the second; and 3 on the third averaging 12.6 minutes on the court.
