From the 2nd of June Gran Canaria Arena is the place where Basketball Without Borders Europe Camp is being organized by NBA in collaboration with FIBA. Furthermore, three Canarias Basketball Academy’s coaches (Samuel Sosa, Richard Petruska and Sergio Salesa) have taken part into this activity in which also seven CBA players (six U17 and one U16)  joined them today.

In that sense, Serigne Ndiaye, Unai Martín, Joshua Tomaic, Javier Valeiras, Levi Miguel, Moses Bol and Li Shengzhe have enjoyed one of the practices of this international experience along with other 43 boys and girls, aprox. In this session not only they worked on their skills, but also played a 5 on 5 scrimmage.

Previously, four NBA an WNBA stars, two of them retired  (Jorge Garbajosa and Amaya Valdemoro) and two still playing like Ricky Rubio (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Damjan Rudez (Indiana Pacers) were the protagonists in a 20 minute talk in which they explained their career both in study and basketball terms.

As a culmination, CBA’s Serigne Ndiaye was named MVP of the Game and was given a T-shirt signed by Garbajosa, Valdemoro, Rubio and Rudez.
