CBA’s, Joshua Tomaic, has been selected by Spain for the U18 Europe Championship 2016, which is going to be celebrated in Turkey from the 30th of July to the 7th of August, becoming the only Canarian player to be selected.

With this prize, Joshua puts the icing on the cake after an amazing season both individually and collectively. He played the U18 Spanish National Championship with CBA and there he showed his potential, helping his team to a historic 5th place finish. Moreover, Joshua signed with Maryland last month, becoming the first Canarian player to commit to a Top25 basketball program in The USA.

Tomaic said “I´m living a dream. This season has been incredible because I could help my team in the Spanish National Championship, I commited to Maryland and, now, I´m going to represent my country at the European Championships. Without CBA, none of this could have happened”.

Spain has been placed in Group A along with Croatia, Sweden and Italy.
