His best game was against VMI yesterday (10 points, 5-6 FG, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in 23 minutes). Even though he is a freshman, his 5.3 points and 4.6 rebounds are going to be increased for sure.
Boris Bojanovsky (FloridaState)
Fantastic performance last Sunday 23rd of November vs Massachussetts. 18 points, 4 rebounds, 7/10 FG and 4/6 FT in 22 minutes as his Seminoles lost 75-69.
Joey van Zegeren (Virginia Tech)
Impressive season. 17 points and 10 rebounds vs Liberty on the 19th of November, 15-6 vs Northern Iowa on the 25th, 8-9 vs Miami on the 26th and 13-8 and 6 blocked shots vs Morgan State yesterday. He averages 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds!
Gilvydas Biruta (Rhode Island Rams)
Lithuanian forward Gilvydas Biruta averages 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in the beginning of the season. On the 27th of November he scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds as the Rams lost to Kansas 76-60.
Chris Tang (UC Riverside)
8 points and 6 rebounds in 14 minutes for freshman Chinese guard Chris Tang vs St. Katherine on the 23rd of November.
Robert Boezeman (UC Riverside)
The 6’7 Dutch power-forward had a career high with 16 points and 8 rebounds in 19 minutes Riverside vs St. Katherine. He averages 14 minutes, 5.5 points and 3.7 rebounds. You can watch his highlights by clicking here.
Thomas van der Mars (Portland Pilots)
He is the top rebounder for the Pilots (7.2) in front of his teammate Gerun. As soon as our 6’11 Dutch center improves his scoring (8.3 points), he is going to become unstoppable in the paint. 10 points and 13 rebounds vs Murray State last 28th and 14-6 vs Drake last 29th.
Volodymyr Gerun (Portland Pilots)
Astonishing next to the rim in the first two games: he was the top rebounder and leading scorer of the team (14.3 points and 9.0 rebounds). Though he slowed down last weekend (8 points and 4.6 rebounds in three games) he still averages 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds (third and second in his team, respectively). Good beginning by this Senior Ukranian power-forward.
Simon Krajcovic (Loyola Marymount)
It was a question of time that Simon got great stats as the best pointguard for Coach Dunlop. He achieved 12 points, 9 assists and 4 rebounds in 18 minutes vs UC Irvine last 29th.
Jito Kok (San Diego)
Dominated the paint vs Michigan: 15 points, 3 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and 9-11 FT in 33 minutes. In addition, he got 15 points and 5 blocked shots in 33 minutes vs W. Michigan. In his Junior season, this center should get better his averages (8.1 points and 3.3 rebounds) little by little.
Duda Sanadze (San Diego)
Our Georgian guard has started his Junior year with great expectations with 13 points and 2 rebounds in 19 minutes last Monday 24th vs W. Michigan. Furthermore, he gained 12 points and 4 rebounds as the Toreros lost to that same team yesterday (68-66).
Miguel Dicent (Morehead)
Dominican guard showed how much he can score in NCAA 1. KY Christian received 14 points and 4 assists last Saturday 29th.
Aleksej Rostov (Western Kentucky)
Latvian forward Aleksej Rostov added 9 points and 5 rebounds in 14 minutes vs Stony Brook on the 25th of November (his team lost 71-61).
