With the end of the season, the time comes for farewells. And on this occasion, it’s time to say goodbye to Eireann Palmer, the only girl who has spent a full season training and living at CBA.
With her everlasting smile, Palmer has and will take every opportunity of her experiences at this high performance center: “This year has been hard, but it has helped me to find myself. I have improved a lot, thanks to the quantity and quality of the workouts. I have more confidence in my shot, I feel stronger and smarter on court and I am a more effective player”.
The Irish player has already made one of her dreams come true, since she has been accepted to study medicine at the University of Bristol, which she hopes to combine with basketball: “They are my two passions and I will continue to strive to be the best in both.”
Finally, she wanted to give: “Thanks to Rob (Orellana), all the technical and administrative staff, and all the players”, adding, “I thank the CBA for giving me the same training as the Boys and for making me a stronger, smarter and more skilled player; Without a doubt, if you are a hard worker and want to improve, this is the ideal place for you”.
