The U14 team at the Canarias Basketball Academy will travel to Fuerteventura on Thursday, where they will compete in the Canarian Championship from 11 to 14 May.

As usual, the first two days will involve the group stages games. As such, CBA has been placed in Group ‘A’, next to Santo Domingo (Tenerife), E.B. Aridane Naranja (La Palma) and the host club, Los Toscones Corralejo. The ‘B’ group, meanwhile, include: Canterbury Academy, Nautical Kia Tenerife, Iberostar Canarias and Nazaret (Lanzarote).

Los Toscones is to be the first opponent of the CBA team led by coach Jorge Rodriguez, the game being held at 7pm the coming Thursday, in the Pabellón José Perdomo Umpiérrez. On Friday they will play two games: in the morning (11 a.m.) vs E.B. Aridane Orange and in the afternoon (6 p.m.) vs Santo Domingo of Tenerife.

The top two teams in each group will face each other in the semifinals, which will be held on Saturday. On Sunday, as always, the grand finale will be held. This will occur at 1pm in the Pavilion José Perdomo Umpiérrez.
