Canarias Basketball Academy is in Tenerife playing its last preseason games before making the debut next 4th of October at Centro Insular de Deportes Sports Hall.
In that sense, Pepe Carrión’s players clearly overtook his first day in the adjacent island as they beat CB Santa Cruz from EBA League by 64-74 in a behind the doors game organized at Pabellón Central in the “chicharrera” capital.
From the first moment the grancanarians showed their concentration, running and scoring from the perimeter, accumulating the first good advantage before halftime (+8).
In the third quarter CBA didn’t stop either its defensive intensity or its rebounding fight as our team kept the lead of the first half against a very competitive Santa Cruz. Finally, the scoreboard indicated 64-74 for the “canariones”.
CBA is going to play this Saturday vs CB Tacoronte (1st Autonómica League) at 12 pm at Pabellón del Club Náutico, the same place where on Sunday at 12:30 pm CBA is going to challenge Náutico from EBA League in the last preseason game.
