The Dutch national team got off to a great start in the Eurobasket 2015 with a thrilling victory over Georgia, 72-72. After 26 years without participating in this event, Tom Van Helfterens’ player have debuted in Zagreb (Croatia), in Group C.

Leading the way was Charlton Kloof with a game high 22 points. Also, Duda Sanadze, another ex CBA player had 11 points for Georgia.

Meanwhile, the other two ex players of the Canarias Basketball Academy involved in this Eurobasket won their respective games. Patrik Audas’   Czech Republic beat Estonia 80-52, and Haralds Karlis’  Latvia  beat Belgium (67-78).
